Food Pantry

Ouray County Food Pantry 1WCOC helps and supports (with member donations and monetary gifts) the Ouray County Food Pantry (OCFP), is located at 103 Highway 62 (near the SHELL station) in Ridgway.
OCFP is open every Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  It is open on the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving and closed Christmas week.
The Food Pantry supplies food and clothing to Ouray County residents in need.

Community residents are encouraged to donate to OCFP. Non-perishable food and household maintenance items and clothing may be dropped off at the Food Pantry, Mountain Market, or the Ridgway Post Office. If bringing perishables, including frozen foods, dairy, meat, etc., please bring these items only to the Food Pantry during open hours.

El Pomar Foundation (Colorado Springs) has in the past awarded OCFP with a $2500 grant for general operating support. The grant was recommended by El Pomar Foundations’s San Juan Regional Council, an advisory board of community leaders representing Delta, Montrose, Gunnison, HInsdale, Ouray, and San Miguel counties.
