Lucy Boody “Weaving and Spinning”
Please join us for a fabulous presentation by a fabulous lady on weaving and spinning! We are so happy to have Ridgway resident, Lucy Boody, present this month. Lucy is an amazing fiber artist and part of the Mountain Girl Gallery. Lucy will bring some items to demonstrate, as well as have some items available for sale.

Rev. John Gowins holds a PHD degree from a joint program at Denver University and The Iliff School Of Theology and his PHD is in Religion and Psychological Studies. Rev. Gowins is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Colorado and has been ministering in the counseling field for over 35 years. He has taught Pastoral Care and Counseling at the Seminary level for two years and has taught at the Graduate level for 15 years, and served as Pastor for over 35 years. Gowins is currently the Executive Director for Eagle’s Nest Counseling which was established in 1990. He practices marriage, family and individual counseling.
He enjoys spending time with his wife of 49 years, his children and grandchildren and is an avid fly-fisherman.
WCOC meetings are held at 1-3 p.m. at the Ouray Community Center, San Juan Room. Most meetings feature a unique program presenting guest speakers, men and women who lead “uncommon lives.” Following a break for refreshments, a short business meeting is held. The public is welcome.
