The Woman's Club of Ouray County is pleased to announce 2024 Grant Applications! Funds were raised at the WCOC Rummage Sale, and additional fundraisers, to give back to local nonprofit organizations fulfilling the WCOC mission of Community and Philanthropy.

The WCOC asks that submitted grant requests support community projects which will benefit Ouray County and its residents, with the intention that the funds would support local needs.

Grant requests for individual scholarships/or projects

benefitting one individual are not in the spirit of WCOC grants. Grant applications should be for a project or

program which will benefit the community at large.

Grant Requests will open on September 1, 2024

and will be accepted until September 30, 2024

HOW TO APPLY FOR A WCOC GRANT

 

Prepare a letter stating the following: 

     1)  The purpose of your 501(c)(3) organization

    2)  What specific reason the WCOC grant would be used for
         in the community - must not be used for general
         operational expenses

This letter will need to be attached in the online GRANT FORM below.

 

Fill out the online GRANT FORM and submit 

Grant Applications are no longer being accepted for 2024

(Once the form is submitted with the required information, you should receive an email notifying you it has been successfully submitted. If you do not, then the form was not submitted correctly and the form will need to be filled out and submitted again.)

Grant applications will ONLY be accepted via the online application process. No mail in applications will be accepted.

​​The WCOC board will review the nonprofit grant applications and make their recommendations to the WCOC Membership at the

October 15, 2024 monthly meeting for approval by WCOC members.

Grant awardees will be notified shortly after that meeting.

​

Grant requests MUST be received by Monday, September 30, 2024.

Grant requests received after this date will not be considered.
